ART PROGRAMS 2023
This art program takes a different approach to creating art than the typical craft-centered workshops. At Imaginations Soaring, our focus is on making art with intention. Our program is designed to go beyond simple crafting projects and instead immerse students into a truly inclusive and innovative experience. Here, students will learn to create art that has a unique and personal meaning to them, rather than just replicating cookie-cutter crafts. With a focus on developing artistic skills, students will learn to express their ideas and feelings through the mediums of both traditional and contemporary art. Imaginations Soaring is more than just learning some of the basic elements of art and design. Young artists will also be introduced to some art history and theory, with the intention that each piece of art created and shared can be thoughtfully discussed within its historical context. We believe that art has the power to inspire change and foster meaningful conversations. It is our deepest hope that our students leave this program with a newfound sense of self and an artistic purpose.
