Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an inspiring figure and fierce advocate for equality. To honor this legacy, I painted this contemporary portrait of her as a tribute to the strength she embodied. While developing this piece, RBG's famed line, 'Fight For The Things You Care About', served as the guiding principle in hopes that this piece would bring about awareness and further inspire those who view it. My goal is to eloquently remind my audience of the gifts that RBG offered us – to have the tenacity, courage, and perseverance when fighting for justice during times of adversity.
